PCOS

Information about PCOS

PCOS for those who are unaware, is a hormonal disorder occurring in women during the reproductive years. Small sacs of fluid (cysts), containing immature eggs, called follicles, develop along the outer edge of the ovary. These follicles fail to release the eggs regularly. The exact cause of PCOS is not known, but, early diagnosis and treatment (weight loss and dietary restrictions), may lower the overall risk of complications, like type 2 diabetes and heart disease, and in some cases even lead to pregnancy.

Symptoms include; irregular periods; too much androgen in the system which can express itself in an excess body or facial hair; polycystic ovaries which can increase the size of ovaries, and lead to immature egg production (trouble getting pregnant).

I have seen numerous clients reverse their symptoms, and even get pregnant! These are anecdotal accounts, and there is no guarantee involved, however, the data accumulated is impressive! Please see my testimonials for some firsthand accounts!

All of this being said, I would love the opportunity to show you how this has worked for many of my current and previous clients!
